"Cancellation worked, just a bit slow"
I ended up cancelling my order after realizing I’d picked the wrong item — which was my fault, to be fair. The cancellation request did go through, but it took a couple of days to get a proper response, and I did have to follow up once. Maybe I was just being impatient, I’m not sure, but the process felt a little unclear. The refund came through in the end, so it wasn’t a huge issue. Overall, not a bad experience, but not exactly smooth either

"Felt pressured, but the prices just didn’t add up"
I looked at a few tools and felt a bit pressured to make a decision because of the sales, but the prices were still higher than other shops I found. I’m fine with paying a little extra if it makes sense, but the difference was big enough that it just didn’t feel worth it.

"Sales felt a bit misleading"
I had mixed feelings about the sale at Sydney Tools. At first it looked like there were some decent deals, but once I actually started checking prices, the discounts didn’t seem all that special. A few things were either the same price or even cheaper elsewhere, which was frustrating. The promos definitely sound good upfront, but after looking a bit closer, it didn’t feel like there was much real value. I expected better, to be honest, and I probably wouldn’t go out of my way for their sales again.

I’m still waiting, and it’s starting to get annoying. There haven’t been any helpful updates either, so I’m just left feeling stuck and a bit fed up.

"Still Waiting for a Fix"
I’m still waiting for this issue to be fixed, and it’s getting frustrating. I’ve followed up more than once, and at this point it feels like I’m begging for help instead of getting basic support. Not a great experience.

"Delivery took much longer than expected"
I ordered expecting it to arrive within a few days, but it ended up taking way longer than I thought it would. The lack of updates made it more frustrating, and I had to follow up myself just to find out what was going on. Based on that experience, I wouldn’t choose delivery from them again.

"“In Stock” Apparently Means Something Else"
I ordered it because the website said it was in stock, which apparently was a fun little plot twist because I was told later it wasn’t actually available. I needed it that week, so that was frustrating. The staff were fine to deal with, to be fair, but the stock info really needs to be kept up to date. Mostly just ended up wasting time waiting for something that wasn’t coming.

"Click and collect was a hassle"
I ordered click and collect and got the message saying it was ready, but when I turned up the staff couldn’t find it anywhere. I ended up waiting around for ages and left annoyed. it felt more like a scavenger hunt than… yeah, not doing that again.
"Arrived in rough shape"
The box showed up badly crushed on one side, and I could actually hear the tools rattling around inside before I even opened it. Not a great first impression, and it made me wonder if anything had been damaged during shipping

I don’t know what else to say, but it’s still not fixed on my end. I tried checking again and it’s the same as before, so I’m just kind of stuck waiting at this point.

"Pretty confusing and not very reassuring"
I didn’t have the best experience, to be honest. The website seemed to say one thing, but then the updates I got didn’t really match up, which made the whole process confusing. I was never totally sure what was actually happening with my order, and it didn’t leave me feeling very confident. Not sure I’d be in a hurry to order from sydneytools.com.au again.

"Okay experience, but felt uneasy after paying"
I went in to pick up a few tools, but only about half of what I needed was actually in stock. The staff were helpful and tried to sort things out, but I ended up waiting longer than I expected. After I paid, I’ll admit I felt a bit unsure about whether everything would be handled properly, which wasn’t a great feeling. Overall, not too bad, but it could’ve been smoother.

"Order updates were basically no help"
I got the order confirmation right away, and then after that it was pretty much radio silence. I kept checking my email and the account page way more than I should have, just trying to figure out if it had even been packed or sent. Weirdly, I remember I was eating a packet of salt and vinegar crisps the first time I checked the tracking page, and it still looked the same days later.
I really don’t mind waiting for an order if I know what’s happening, but the lack of proper updates made it feel like it had just vanished. In the end I had to chase it up myself, which is annoying and kind of defeats the point of ordering online. Not a great experience.

"Damaged tool, frustrating support"
The tool showed up smashed in the box, which was already disappointing. I sent photos the same day, but then I just got bounced around for weeks, with different people asking me the same questions over and over. Still no replacement, no refund, nothing. Poor way to deal with damaged goods, and I won’t be ordering again.

I tried to return a faulty tool and it ended up being way more hassle than it should’ve been. I had to follow up with them a few times and kept getting different answers, which just made the whole thing feel really messy, if that makes sense. In the end, I was still out of pocket for postage and wasted a lot of time. Not really what I expected, and I don’t think I’ll be buying from Sydney Tools online again.

"Good product, but the listing could be clearer"
I bought this from Sydney Tools and overall the product was fine, but the details on the listing weren’t quite as clear as I would’ve liked. Most of the specs seemed right, but a few things were vague enough that I ended up checking other sites before placing the order. In the end, the item worked out okay, but personally I think the product page could use a bit more accurate and detailed info.

"Good tools, but the shipping..."
The tools themselves were good, no complaints there. But the shipping cost was a bit much and kind of put me off..
"Pickup took way too long"
Pickup ended up taking almost an hour, which was way longer than I expected. What made it more frustrating was that every time I asked for an update, I got a different answer. One person said it would just be a few more minutes, then someone else said they weren’t sure when it would be ready. Really annoying experience overall

"Not All the Brands Were There"
I’m not trying to be overly picky, but when I checked, I did notice that some brands were missing. Maybe I just caught it at the wrong time, but it was a little disappointing since I expected to see a wider selection.
